With a few clicks in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel, you can switch between 5 separate protection levels. In case you still get unsolicited bulk emails or the filters start preventing legitimate messages from entering your mailbox, you can change the level just as easily. The efficiency of our anti-spam service is ensured by one of the most famous filters – SpamAssassin. If you do not want to risk omitting a genuine message that may be classified as spam because of its content, you can also create custom spam filters based on the sender, the subject or the body of the message and re-send the emails to a different email account where you can check them at a later point in time.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
In case you use one of our semi-dedicated hosting, you will not have to worry about unsolicited bulk email messages stuffing your mailboxes every now and then, as you can resort to the popular SpamAssassin filter that we provide with each account. Our custom-created Hepsia Control Panel will permit you to enable the filter for any mailbox with a couple of clicks and you can pick any of the 5 protection levels – from very low to very high. The level can be changed at any time if, for example, legitimate emails get filtered, or if spam emails go through and reach your inbox. To be on the safe side, you can choose all filtered messages to be re-sent to a special email account like firstname.lastname@example.org and not to be erased. Thus, you can go through them from time to time to ensure that you haven’t missed a legitimate email.
