A catch-all functionality that is enabled for a given e-mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. To put it differently, if you delete an email address and somebody still sends an email message to it, or to any mistyped email address under the very same domain name, you will receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be vital if you run some company, for example. Since you may start receiving spam messages, you can combine the catch-all feature with anti-spam filtering software in order to get only authentic messages in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all e-mailbox without any effort in case you’ve got a shared hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager tool in our custom Hepsia Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet astonishingly easy to work with, and it will permit you to activate different features, including the catch-all one, with only a few clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you have set up will be displayed in alphabetical order in this section and to the right of each one you’ll notice a tiny "Catch-all" sign. Clicking on it once will activate the feature, clicking it twice will disable it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you’ve already got another one with this feature enabled or if you’ve got active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The catch-all feature can be activated without effort if you’ve got a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you’ve set up with the domain names hosted in your account will be listed in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you will notice a mini icon handily situated directly next to each one. With just one single click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your preference on the condition that there isn't another mailbox under the same domain with this option already enabled and there isn't enabled email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on a mailbox and activate this feature through the menu that will come into sight. In case any of the conditions for creating a catch-all mailbox is not satisfied, our system will inform you, but will not replace or deactivate anything automatically.
